Under the supervision of a journey-level craft person or trade professional, apprenticeship programs combine on-the-job training and related classroom instruction providing both practical and theoretical aspects of a skilled occupation. Apprentices earn a wage while in the program and upon completing their program and required number of hours, receive an Apprenticeship Completion Certificate and are recognized as qualified journeymen nationwide.
